Surfing Madonna Oceans Project is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Registration fees go towards projects such as our annual Surf Camp for Special Needs Kids, Plastic Reduction Education Programs and Projects, Marine Mammal Rescue Equipment, Floating Beach Wheelchairs for persons with disabilities, our Ocean Swim Program for disabled adults and veterans, scholarships and much more. As the saying goes, "If you want to see change in the world, BE THE CHANGE".

RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE

SURFING MADONNA “SAVE THE OCEAN” 1K/5K/10K/15K

I, fully understand that my participation in the Surfing Madonna “Save the Ocean” 1K/5K/10K/15K Race (hereinafter “EVENT”) is a potentially hazardous activity that exposes me to the risk of personal injury, death or property damage. I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in this event, am medically able and properly trained and agree to assume any such risks associated with running in the event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather (high heat/humidity/rain), waves, tripping over rocks/debris on the beach, or colliding with other runners or onlookers.

I hereby release, discharge and agree not to sue the Surfing Madonna Oceans Project organization, the City of Encinitas and/or their officers, agents, employees, and volunteers (hereinafter, RELEASEES) for any injury, death or damage to or loss of personal property arising out of, or in connection with, my participation in the EVENT from whatever cause, including the active or passive negligence of RELEASEES or any other participants in the EVENT.
In consideration for being permitted to participate in the EVENT, I hereby agree, for myself, my heirs, administrators, executors and assigns, that I shall indemnify and hold harmless RELEASEES from any and all claims, demands actions or suits arising out of or in connection with my participation in the event/class.

There is a strict no refund policy on all registrations. By agreeing to the terms above you are also stating that you have read and understand all conditions set forth on/in the Surfing Madonna Run website.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT IT IS A FULL RELEASE OF ALL LIABILITY AND SIGN ON MY OWN FREE WILL.
